TIRED TODAY

The grand ball last night was perfect. Everyone decked out in their finest, a professional photographer taking formal portraits, a catered dinner, then toasts, dessert, more toats, gifts, and even a special rooftop ceremony at midnight.

The weather was absolutley perfect and the skies were full of stars. In all, it was a perfect day to become an old man.

Today the gang split up. Four people went off to London, another 10 went to Dublin, and the rest of us went golfing down in Kilkee, a little local course along the Atlantic coast. It was windy but sunny, and we had a grand time.

Now we stragglers at the castle are going to socialise (spelling intentional) for a few hours and get some rest.

The pictures above are from our Bunratty Banquet on Sunday night, where I had Jeremy crowned as the Earl of Thomond and where they let him preside over the banquet. Those who know Jeremy can imagine how that went.

Tomorrow some of us are off to golf down at Old Head in Kinsale, the most ridiculously gorgeous course anyone can imagine. Should be wild.

Dublin reporting in. We have secured the city. They have good food and nice drinking establishments.

We just saw the Day 3 pictures-looks like everyone is having fun, (especially MK). But as a fellow picture taker (who never seems to be at any events), someone take some pictures of Shannon! I know other cameras are snapping photos, but someone needs to take Shannon's camera and get some pictures of her, and her and Birthday Boy together.

Matt, on your Birthday, we were getting drenched at the annual bar outing. Started out warm and sunny and after about 12 holes it started coming down and then it began to pour. Ted, Joe, Josh and I continued on sans umbrellas but we were finally ordered in by the pro. So you only missed 2/3 of the event. Sounds like you are having great fun. I hope your golf game is better than mine. I had 5 3-putts yesterday and only one 1-putt. Yikes.

London here... we've been having a wonderful time. It started off in luxury courtesy of Sarah's driver who took us in style to our hotel. We've stormed the city for the past 2 days seeing everything we can. I've made Joe eat Italian both nights since I was having serious tomato sauce withdrawl in Ireland. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again tomorrow! See you then... Kelly and Joe

London again. Kelly's account is dead on, except for that little spot of trouble she managed to get in...can't provide details...but the British have stated they want Boston back.

I agree with Svedas's comment -- Where's Shannon? Anybody seen Shannon? SHANNON, WE WANT TO SEE YOU! I know you've been on the other side of the camera, but we want to see your smiling face, too. SHOW SHANNON, SHOW SHANNON, SHOW SHANNON!
